It's her co-worker's ride. His next one? AN RWB PORSCHE. She also sent this with no context. Yes, those are CA plates.

I'll never understand when people put the cheapest tires possible on a ride with THOUSANDS of dollars in mods.

All of this. Good tires are not all that expensive, I don't know why people think it is....

I love watching Barrett Jackson and Mecum and all those auctions and muscle cars go for six figures, but have MULTI MILE tires on them.
Not bad tires, mind you, but I had Multi Miles on my FOCUS.

Is this in San Diego? I think I've seen this beast parked on the street before.

Nope, LA

Chances are those 6+ figure cars never leave the garage anyway, so who cares?

Yeah...who knows what the deal is with that.
I have Firestone Firehawk Wideovals on the wagon, and honestly, they were less than $500, and some of the best tires I could have bought.

Its like popping the hood and seeing a EVERSTART WalMart battery in a Ferrari.

I don't mind a set of period correct BFG's or something like a Wide Oval (since they have been Wide Ovals forever, even back when they were bias ply), but Kumho Power Stars Really? Why not run some GOODRIDES or some other Chinese crap tire? lol

Well, I'll be honest, Kumho tires have never really disappointed me.

Me either, but.... its a rat rod. Not a '95 Neon.

I think your point is going to start backfiring on you soon. It's a rat rod, not a concourse '34 Ford.

Nice to see I'm not the only one driving a Model A to work.
